In the fourth quarter of 2020, the theme park industry's mobile presence was marked by fluctuating user engagement and download figures. Data from Sensor Tower offers insights into how five major theme park applications performed on Android devices in the United States during this period.

My Disney Experience saw a steady increase in downloads starting from approximately 8K in the last week of September to over 14K by the end of December. Weekly active users also rose, beginning at around 48K and peaking at nearly 58K in the final week of 2020.

For Universal Orlando Resort, downloads initially hovered around 5.5K in late September but surged to over 12K in the week of Christmas. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 14.6K and reaching almost 24.8K by year's end.

The Six Flags app experienced a varied download pattern, with an early October peak of nearly 3.9K, a dip to 1K in late November, and a slight recovery to 1.4K by the end of December. Its weekly active users saw a similar trajectory, with a high of around 10.8K in mid-October, a low of 7K in early December, and a slight increase to 7.3K as the year concluded.

SeaWorld downloads showed growth from under 1K at the quarter's start to over 2.2K in the final week, while active users more than doubled from roughly 1.8K to over 3.1K during the same timeframe.

Lastly, Great Wolf Lodge had its highest download numbers in early October at nearly 2.7K but saw a decline to under 800 by the year's end. The app's active users experienced a significant drop from 3.1K in mid-October to just 678 in the last week of December.
